I'm trying to find documentation outlining the flow of a packet from the
time it leaves the wire at the input interface until it is placed on the
wire at the output interface.
- Something along the lines of ---> IP Sec ---> Input Common Classification
---> Input ACL ---> Input Marking ---> Policy Routing ---> CEF ---> and so
on!
Optimally, one for a router and one for a switch!
I found a parial outline at
"http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/105/qos_orderofop_3.html" However, the
notes stated there had been changes to the order and used reference points
that were not initially listed.
I also found another outline at"
http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/556/5.html" However, this one does not
contain many of the fields referenced in the first.
Thanks,
Darrin
