RE: Que. regarding rip, ospf & eigrp

Here are some things that should be considered right off the bat....

1. NETWORK SIZE
(Smallest to Largest)
RIP - EIGRP - OSPF - BGP

2. ALL CISCO ROUTER INFRASTRUCTURE?
Important consideration for EIGRP versus OSPF/BGP

3. ADMINISTRATOR'S SKILL SETS
Do many of the key admins have more experience with one protocol versus
the other?

4. BUDGET
Will there be issues affording an infrastructure that can run OSPF/BGP
well?

5. POLITICAL ISSUES
Any key decision makers have a "problem" with any of the protocols
listed above?

I am very tired right now - forgive me - I am sure others will add to
this list for you!

I certainly hope this helps get you started!

Though basic, Keeping the books and lab manuals aside, in real life
scenerio, when designing a network from scratch, how would you convince
a
client (in what network toplogy?) to implement OSPF over EIGRP, or EIGRP
over RIP and vice-versa

thanks:-
