Are these commands duplicate with respect to the traps being sent or
would the traps key-word be needed in the snmp-server host cli?
snmp-server enable traps mac-notification
snmp-server host 187.1.3.100 CISCOTRAPS mac-notification
-----
If we add [traps] would we need 'snmp-server enable traps
mac-notification'?
snmp-server host 187.1.3.100 [traps] CISCOTRAPS [notification-type]
- (Optional) Enter traps (the default) to send SNMP traps to the host.
- (Optional) For [notification-type], use the keyword mac-notification.
If no type is specified, all notifications are sent.
snmp-server enable traps [notification-type]
- Enable the switch to send traps or informs and specify the type of
notifications to be sent.
