I don't know about that...
I've been behind closed doors where and heard Cisco
Reps upsell their Global Services vs. Gold Partners in
a very peculiar manner.
Then again, I've heard at least one Gold Partner who
specifically lost a CCIE to Cisco.
So, the correct answer is it depends...
And oh yes, I specifically recall another conversation
where at least one Cisco Gold Partner did not trust
Cisco with its own clients and refused to use the
Cisco Discovery Tool as a direct result.
So overall, I'd say Gold Partner's that have been
around for a while know the truth of the matter.
