Monitoring VPN3000 & VPN3002

I am trying to monitor VPN3000 and VPN3002 public interfaces using
MRTG remotely but even after enabling SNMP and giving community
string, MRTG gives error that no response from the device. Is there
any thing special to configure in 3000 & 3002 cleint for these to be
monitored?
