Hello,
I recently came to know about this fourm. I am starting to prepare for the CCIE R&S lab exam. I have a few questions and wondering if some experts can answer.
1) How long is the lab exam currently? I was reading that it's 2 days long 4 hrs each day.
2) How's the exam structured? I read on cisco site that it consists of network configuration and troubleshooting? How does it work? I heard that first part of the exam is to configure a network according to the instructions and in the second part of the exam they break your config and ask you to troubleshoot the network. Is this correct?
3) How many switches and routers are in the actual exam? I remember reading that in the current exam there are 4 switches (2 - 3550s & 2 - 3560s) and 6 routers. Is this correct?
4) I'm planning on attending IE's Advanced Technologies online class and also intended to follow their lab workbook and mock labs. Can someone recommend a good bootcamp that can be attended in person? I have heard a lot about IP Expert bootcamps.
I appologize in advance if these question have already been answered in this forum.
Thanks,
--Henry
