Slightly OT: IGMP version on Linux

Hi Group,
I use a linux/fedora PC as BB-PC Kernel 2.6.17
When this issues IGMP reports they are version 3 which is fine for the
router but not for the switch; IGMP snooping seems not to understand
them very well.
Any idea how to change on linux the igmp version back to 2?
