Hi Eli,
We have 11 IP Phones . Out of these 11 phones, only 1 phone is 7905
and remaining are 7911.
7911 - All of the IP Phones are coming up with Eastern
Standard Time.
7905 - This phone is showing Greenwich Standard Time which is
being configured to use.
When I type command sh ephone ? on 2801 CME then I
can`t see the 7911 listed there, but if I type the whole command sh ephone
7911 then it accepts it and shows all of the 7911 phones. Where as when I type
sommand sh ephone ? I can see 7905 listed in the options.
Currently time is
not propagated via NTP. Time is define in Telephony Services Section.
Is it a
software issue ? I am not sure and still trying to figure it out.
Thanks
Ahmad

Time difference between 2801 CME and IP Phones
Hi,
If the time is
propagated via NTP - then only UTC is propageted not the time
zone. The
time-zone needs to be set in each device seperatly. This statement
is true
about regular ntp devices, I don't know if it applys to IP phones
(but
probably it does).

Time difference between 2801 CME and IP Phones
Hi Group,
We have a 2801 CME
with version
c2801-adventerprisek9-mz.124-10a.bin and IP Phones 7911.
All of
the IP Phones
are coming up with Eastern Standard Time but whereas CME is
configured with
Greenwich Standard Time.
Any advice to fix this issue will
be highly appreciated.
Thanks
