Hi Deji,
I attempted my lab in November last year in Brussels and came across the
following:
1. Temperature in the lab was okay. A light jacket would be fine. I even had
to take my jacket off during the exam.
2. For lunch, they'll give you a voucher and will escort you to the Cisco
cafeteria, where you can choose from a variety of dishes.
3. I got my result around 3:30am UK time.
4. I took the 830pm flight back to London after the exam. I could have taken
an earlier flight as I was back at the airport at 5pm, but BMI did not let
me do so without paying a penalty. Exam started around 815am, but make sure
that you are in the Lobby area before 745am.
5. To overcome the anxiety, the best thing would be to arrive early in the
evening in Brussels so that even if the flight is late, you can still get to
the hotel at a decent time and get decent sleep. Assuming you are staying at
one of the hotels close to Cisco (NH, Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express), you
might want to walk to Cisco office one day before, just so that you know how
long it will take the following morning. It shouldnt take more than 10-15
minutes to walk from Holiday Inn to Cisco.
6. I checked out from the hotel the morning of exam. They do store your bags
for you, that happens to be in the same room as the exam.
7. Cisco office is about 10 minutes drive from Brussels airport. Most hotels
in Cisco office area operate shuttles from the airport that run frequently.
