I can't answer your questions about the flight schedules as I haven't flown
in/out of Brussels before. If you're only going to London, what about the
train? That was what I had taken anyway. *shrug*
As for anxiety, try hard to relax! Don't study the day before. You likely
will not retain anything new anyway, so spend the time relaxing. Site-see
if you haven't been to Brussels before, just wander around. Have a good
dinner (not much alcohol!) and go to bed early. Plenty of sleep will help a
lot!
As for TCL scripts, you can get away with manual pings it's just that the
TCL makes it faster. There are plenty of examples if you search the
archives here and it really is not a complicated script just to ping!
(There is much about TCL that is above my head and level of care!) but
manual works just as well, just slower.
If Brussels is like any other lab, they should have a place for your
belongings while you take your lab. But I have no idea how far away from
the airport it is, so sorry I can't help with that!
Best of luck in your exam!!!

Subject: Brussels next week
Hi GS,
I have my big day next week (1st attempt) and just want some tips from what
not to eat to what not to wear. Basically, anything that will make my lab
experience more comfortable.
Is it safe to book my flight to leave brussels at night? The last flight
back to london that night is at 8.25 pm Brussels time. Will i have
sufficient time to get back to the airport or should i just stay the night?
When will i know the big decision after the exam?
How do i overcome anxiety the night before the exam? Its still a few days
away and i am so nervous.
Do i really need to use TCL scripts or can i just do manual pings (I don't
know how to do TCL pings).
If i check out of the hotel in the morning, will i be able to put my things
in a safe area while i take the lab?
How far is the centre from the airport?
Any suggestions would be very welcome.
Thanks for your anticipated input.
