Hi Gruop
I have a setup, is as follows
1. R1 is connected to 2 SP routers (SP-A, SP-B routers both in same AS65000)
via two seperate serial links.
2. R2 is connected to the same SP routers (AS65000) via two serail links...
3. I have enabled bgp multipath on R1 & R2 , its is working perfectly fine
and i can see two bgp entires in the bgp table, and in the routing table of
each R1 & R2 with respective lan blocks....(no issue )
4. Prob, I have R3, which is connected to R1, via p2p link (no SP in
between) via serail 1
5. R3's other serial2 is connected to one is the SP routers (ie..SP-A)
6. Now R3 wants to do multi-path, but its peered with R1 as igbp(via p2p
link) , and SP-A as ebgp.....
7. so by default, all traffic goes throgh the ebgp path (ie..AD 20)
what i want to do is get R3 to do load sharing..... and install two next-hps
on its routing table for a remote prefix.
what is the best solution ???
( if getting a direct link to R3 from SP-B is Not an option ,...I know this
the best & less complicated way....)
Tks in advance
