Access servers traditionally connect you to mgt / console ports. Catalysts
switches these days are predominantly Ethernet based.
I would say it is not possible to use Catalyst switch or indeed for that
matter any other switch to achieve connectivity via the serial port to a
rack of Cisco devices.
