RE: How do you handle 4 switches on IE V4 labs ?

I have a rack (on the way) with two 3560's. I was debating adding two
more 3548's, does anyone have an opinion on that? I haven't looked at
the specs on the 3548, but I know they are not in the same class as the
3550. If they will do the job though, it will save a-lot of money.

Any thoughts?

Subject: How do you handle 4 switches on IE V4 labs ?

Hi,

I have a full rack at home (with 2 X 3560s at the moment)and am using
V3 IE labs. Since the new V4 labs are out which use 4 switches, I am
considering what my options are to upgrade the equipment:

  a. Buy a pair of 29XX which should help to complete the basic
switching tasks on the extra 2 switches
  b. Buy 2 new 3560s - there is just no way around this
  c. Dump the rack and move on to Dynamips

  Please suggest !

  Thanks,

  T Hanks
