pure ASBR (not with ABR double role), area nssa

I can make NSSA ABR send the 0.0.0.0/0 route to the NSSA,
but can't make the ASBR (but not with ABR double role) do the same.

If the NSSA connects to ISP which connects to the public Internet,
packets without explicit route will not go to the ASBR, they will stay at the ABR and get dropped.

Is NSSA defined not to be used to connect to the public internet ?

Reason is that it makes no sense to send a packet destined to the public
internet to any "stub" area ? "Stub" means it doesn't go to any big open world?

John
