Hi,
The number 7 means that "test" is the password after it has been
encrypted and the router is reporting to you that that is not possible.
Enter the command without the 7 (or replace the 7 w/0) if you want test
to be the password.

Want to configure authentication betweeen 2 BGP peers.
I used this command neighbor 1.1.1.1 password 7 test I get an error
message " Invalid encrypted password: "
Pls tell me what is the problem ?
Also neighbor 1.1.1.1 password 5 test - is this MD5 authentication ?
