No, My Cat1 is on 172.16.6.0/24 and BB3 is on 172.16.10.0/24. I tried loopback peering using ebgp-multihop with static route it did not work. In the real lab i will not have access to the backbone to check the config. BB3 is the only router on that network 172.16.10.0/24
Thanks
Mohamed

Tandou, does your 3550-1 have an interface on the 172.16.10.0 network, if not, do you have a route to it?

Mohamed,
Does your config looks like this sample?
router bgp 400
neighbor 1.1.1.1 remote-as 400
neighbor 1.1.1.1 update-source Loopback0
!
ip route 1.1.1.1 255.255.255.255 10.10.10.2
router bgp 400
neighbor 2.2.2.2 remote-as 400
neighbor 2.2.2.2 update-source Loopback0
!
ip route 2.2.2.2 255.255.255.255 10.10.10.1
You may want to post your config
