Hi,
Any number of things can cause your router to boot into
rommon mode. Several have been mentioned such as a
config-register setting or invalid boot command setting...
Corruption of the image on the flash is another why the
router would boot into rommon mode. Other things that come
to mind are an image that is too large to run with the
amount of memory you have so the router can't boot up from
flash. Another thought is the bootrom could be too old in
relation to the ram/flash/image you have. Just some things
to think about and check.
