Hi Maxim,
Isn't the PC traffic coming into the switch untagged on access VLAN 5? If
so, then it cannot be carrying any CoS value. If it is coming untagged, how
about setting the default CoS on the switchport to 4?

Subject: Questions about mls qos
Good day, Group.
I have 3560+Cisco IPPhone7960 and 7970 + router +PC.
Router <--> Switch <---> Phone <---> PC (Windows)
I send ping from PC to router and want to remark it to IP Prec 4.
mls qos
interface FastEthernet0/17
switchport access vlan 5
switchport mode access
switchport voice vlan 9
switchport priority extend cos 4
mls qos trust device cisco-phone
mls qos trust cos
spanning-tree portfast
All maps with default configurations.
PC's IP 30.0.0.1
Router's IP 30.0.0.2
Do ping and see on Router:
R2851#sh interfaces gig 0/0 precedence
GigabitEthernet0/0
Input
Precedence 0: 316 packets, 25283 bytes
interface GigabitEthernet0/0
ip address 30.0.0.2 255.255.255.128
ip accounting precedence input
I have tried 7960 and 7970 - the same results...
Why command "switchport priority extend cos 4" is not remark traffic
from PC? Any ideas?
WBR,
Maxim
