Hi
on a catalys switch, since arp inspections look into the
dhcp bindings to verify ip - mac bindings,
----->in dhcp environments,
1) should I enable ip dhcp globally or *also* on vlans of my interest.
Example,. if I want to do arp inspections in vlan 5
should I enable ip dhcp snooping vlan 5 ??
or just a global ip dhcp snooping is sufficient ?
im not very clear on using* just the "ip dhcp snooping"* command
what exactly will it do when I dont enable per vlan dhcp snooping ?
does it have any effect with out enabling snooping on vlan basis ?
Thanks
Kal
