Does it really make that big of a deal? What if they give you only three
switches but you have 14 different interconnected links to play with? But
on the 4-switch network, you only have 8?
Nervous is good, but not to the point of being paranoid. Take some time,
practice on some labs/equipment that utilize four switches. Once you get
the hang of it, nothing will scare you. :)
All equipment is standardized by the way. So it may simply be the LAB that
you working on only utilizes 2, 3, 4 or more switches. But they're all
there and plugged in.
