Re: Configure 800 routers ?

I had to do something similar about seven years ago at a credit union. I
created a text script in ms excel, and did a copy-paste onto a device on the
network which went out and updated all 300 devices. (pretty basic script,
just adding bandwidth statements into interfaces in all their routers) This
way does work, but there is NO intelligence behind it - meaning if it has an
issue, you wont know unless you go back and look at the logs carefully (use
hyperterm, and save your session to a text file). You could also use a .TCL
script to do it - but personally, I like the excel approach. :)

thanks,
Brad Ellis
