Re: training companies

Adam,

hi! Actually Narbik and I called a student of ours, Sam Agronow, today
after he failed his lab exam this week. We spoke with Sam for a while, and
Narbik is actually going to meet up with him one-on-one next week to "tweak"
his skills so he can pass on his next attempt (or at least be even more
prepared). Sam has been a dedicated student of ours and both Narbik and
myself have been working closely with him. The whole "more than two
switches thing" freaked him out (along with quite a few other people that
weren't expecting it)...which is probably why we are not seeing many people
pass lately. Sam is a great guy and I'm sure he'll be happy to tell you
about our program at Network Learning. One of our recent passing folks,
Peter Hayashi CCIE#17238, wasn't flustered by the extra devices on his exam.
He studied hard, and was ready.

There are several companies which focus on CCIE training and love what they
do. Talk to each of them, talk to their previous students, talk to their
instructors, and speak with their management. Check out the equipment they
have available for their students - ie, how much have they invested in the
company? How long have they been in the CCIE training business? Network
Learning has been doing CCIE training since 1998 - in fact many of our
competition's instructors have used OUR material to pass their exam! That
should say something! :)

thanks,
Brad Ellis
