Instead of using PAgP protocol use the standards based protocol LACP
when connecting to a 3rd party switch.

Interface g0/1
channel-protocol lacp

Subject: Connecting Cisco and Non-Cisco through ether-channel

Hi Gang,
Can we CONNECT cisco and non-cisco switch THROUGH etherchannel

Cisco switch=========port 23-24============LinkSys/AlliedTyson or any
other
3rd party.

Assuming that those 3rd party switches also support etherchannel.

Does ether-channel uses cisco's proprietary algorithm?
