VPN Concentrator OSPF Authentication Issue

I think this has been discussed before, but I can't seem to find it in the
archives.

 

Is there a problem with configuring OSPF MD5 authentication on the VPN-C
public interface? It will not peer with a router running MD5, but will work
with clear text.

 

Is this a bug I don't know about, or could I be doing something wrong?
