Two questions:
Does the exam penalize you for using a /24 mask when it says turn on lets say ospf on this vlan or this interface?
so if you have 1.1.1.1/24 and they ask to turn on ospf on this network,
would you use 1.1.1.0 0.0.0.255
or 1.1.1.1 0.0.0.0
Does it care?
2. If you get to redistribution section and there is a network that is not mentioned in prior sections, but you see if encompassed under a protocol in the IPv4 diagram, do you assume its native in that protocol? Hence, does universal reachability means even getting to addresses that are not covered by the protocol boundaries?
Simple questions but hearing people talk about attention to detail, want to make sure what is the correct modus operadi for CCIE lab.
Thanks.
Raj
