Take my bad experience.
It is much easier to buy only $100 25xx and 26xx routers
and use IRB to emulate 3550 and use cross-over cable to
simulate VLANs. This is what I have at home for a year.
I had been happily using IRB for a year.
Last week I spent $13000 to buy a 3550 from a 100%
positive feed back seller in eBay. Now I am in a battle
to dispute that guy. Took my money and disappeared.
I should just forget about the money and buy new ones.
But I am losing confidence about any thing over $1k in eBay.
You don't need any battle other than the lab. Trust me.
