Hi Mathew,

I think you'll find this interesting. When you ping the directed broadcast
address, for example 10.10.10.255, the packet's destination IP address will
be converted to 255.255.255.255. This may be adjusted with the "ip
broadcast-address x.x.x.x" interface command. This mechanism translates
directed broadcasts to physical broadcasts. It good to know exaclty how it
works since it's common to find Multicast scenarios where you need it.
