Hi Group,
I have a question about this task. The task is asking me to configure
DHCP on a subnet with R6 being the default gateway and R3 should be used
if R6 is down. The solution shows that HSRP should be used with R6 being
the active router and DHCP is using the HSRP virtual IP as the default
gateway. I understood the solution but have a question: couldn't the
same be accomplished by simply configuring:
Ip dhcp pool POOL
Default-router [R6 addresse] [R3 address]
Is there any material difference between the two methods?
