TCP Intercept and the CBAC form of TCP Intercept are very similar. One
main difference between the two is that TCP Intercept can only be used
to prevent TCP SYN flood attacks, whereas CBAC can prevent DoS attacks
for TCP and UDP based traffic.

Subject: IOS diferances
Hi
I have been working through a few labs and found that my 2621xm does not
have the IP TCP Intercept commands available, however I do have IP
INSPECT,
they seem to be very similar commands with the IP TCP version has more
depth.
So first how do I get the IP TCP Intercept commands Im presuming they
come
in enterprise fw/ids feature set so can anyone confirm that is the case,
and
second do I need to get this version of IOS or can I get by with the IP
Inspect commands as like I said earlier they seem to be very similar.
Thx in advance
