One of my buddies recently passed on is first try (167XX to give you a
watermark). Point being, his entire support group was telling him to expect
failure. I believe he went in there without expectations and just rocked
it. If there is no pressure, there is nothing to loose.
I, on the other hand, went in my first time extremely nervous but still had
the expectation of pulling through. When I received my score report, I was
not surprised that I failed. As for my second time, like you and many
others, felt really strong about the test and did everything but the "Rocky
Balboa" dance leaving the lab. When I received my score report, I was
SHOCKED that I didn't pull though. The third time was odd; I finished way
early but stayed and continued to check my work. Being that I felt so
confident in my second attempt I could do nothing but check the details on
my third, lucky I did to, because I found many dumb mistakes. Moreover it
gave me an opportunity to see the questions in a second light and make
modifications to my solutions. So, at the end of the day I walked out
expecting to see the "FAIL" again. My overall point is that there is no
magic number of times a person takes the exam before they pass. I have
personally met people whom have passed on their 10th time and their 1st. I
have heard rumors of people who have taken it 20 or more times.
Looking back, I was not ready until my 3rd time. I was doing the "learn by
lab" thing. I could see the question, but I couldn't see though it. So,
what I am saying is the next time you take the lab, be prepared but don't
expect it to be the "magic" time, you are not given anything.
Also don't rush it; the journey of it is in the preparation. I hate to let
the secret out, but there is no light shining down from the heavens on you
when you pass or even balloons, for that matter.
Good luck and stay with it!

Subject: Failed the 4th try
But score is getting close. And felt good at the end of the exam.
Finished my work 30 minutes before time was up.
Heard people talking about "feeling good but failed". I remember Sabrina
said that. She then passed the next time.
Is that what I experienced ? Am I going Sabrina's route. Next time is my
turn ?
Feeling lonely in life still. But looks like I have a chance to break
through.
