Hi Group,
IEWB lab 18 has sections where QoS needs to identify VoIP traffic. Are
the protocol/port number used by VoIP always fixed (like FTP)? Ie, is
VoIP always on TCP port 1720 and UDP port 16384 to 32767?
I'd like to know if this is something I have to memorize by heart for
the lab, or this is something I need to ask the proctor if not specify
in the requirements?
Is there any other protocol/port numbers we are supposed to know in
addition to the well known ones such as HTTP/FTP/SSH and so on? It
seems a little scary that I could lose a few points for a security/QoS
related question just because I don't know what TCP/UDP ports a protocol
is running on (or even worse, miss a port number)....
Any advice?
Thanks a lot.
