DRP protocol algorithm doesn't seem correct to me

Ever wonder how could the distributed director's round-trip time to any DRP agent mean anything to the actual client ??

We need to tell the client to use the actual web server that is closest to the client. Not the web server that is closet to us (distributed director).

What did they think they were doing ?
