Guys,
Sorry about the OT, but I'm wondering if anyone has ever seen this
before, and I figure there's probably no better group of experts to
answer the question.
I have a number of Cisco 1200 series access points, and have setup dot1q
trunking over the FastEthernet port and subsequently onto the dot11radio
interfaces (with bridged interfaces binding the pairs). After a period
of time after reboot, new interfaces, "virtual-dot11radio" interfaces
are created. Where things get confusing is that these interfaces
occassionally go "down/down", however this doesn't seem impact the
network in terms of wireless connectivity (new hosts and existing hosts
are not affected). The other ("real") interfaces all stay up. As an
example of what I'm talking about:
WAP-1#sh ip int bri
Interface IP-Address OK? Method Status

Dot11Radio0 unassigned YES TFTP up

Has anyone seen this before and can perhaps shed some light?
Thanks in advance, and sorry for the OT.
Regards,
Alex
