Thanks Brian but fine in what sense? That the updated work book will be out
in time or that the content will not change much.

You'll be fine if your lab is in February.

Brian,

I have my lab date in late February and I am using your workbooks to
prepare
for it. How will the changes in the lab equipment affect me? Should I
postpone my date or what do I have to do before then to be prepared in
terms
of extra content?

Will your amended workbooks be released in time for me to use them?

I don't have an exact date but we're working on the update now. More
than likely you'll see Volume I released and then Volume II will follow.
We've been adding a ton of strategy tips to the labs along with
expanding on the solutions. That's in addition to the new four switch
topology (3560s) and 12.4 features. Also we're including the technology
focused labs with the IEWB-RS workbook and are adding about 50 more labs
to them. The new labs are mostly covering layer two topics.

You can contact our sales team for more details.

Hi Brian & Brian,

It sounds like the other 29 labs from the IWEB-RS workbook will be
updated as well? Any estimate on when the newer version will be
available for download?

Thanks :)

The new sample lab from our IEWB-RS workbook with the 4 switches and IOS
12.4 features will be released this week. Our Mock Lab CoD and IEW-RS
workshop material have already been upgraded. Also our rental racks
have the two extra switches (3650's) installed in them now.

Personally I think that going from 2 switches to 4 switches was a great
move on Cisco's part. The extra switches really let us enhance the labs
as far as layer two topics go. On top of that it adds in a couple extra
routers if needed ;-)

Lastly if you're prone to making stupid mistakes the new layer 2
topology could give you some headaches. Each switch has 9 connections
between other switches plus the router connections ;-)

Brian(s),

As we all have heard that Cisco had added two more switches and now they
will use 4 x 3560 switches and would use Advanced IP Services ,So just
wanna ask Brians of IE's that when would they change the labs in their
workbook and when it would be publically available.

Regards,

Gobind
