Here is the question:-
Both ISL and 802.1Q is being used in the Certkiller network. When comparing the
differences in ISL and 802.1Q, which of the following are true? (Select three)
A. 802.1q allows the encapsulation of multiple trunks within a single trunk.
B. 802.1q supports fewer VLANs than ISL.
C. ISL is more efficient than 802.1q due to its smaller header size.
D. ISL supports the processing of untagged frames.
E. 802.1q uses a tag protocol ID of 0x8100
The Answer given is A,B,E
But I think that the answer should be A,E. as 802.1q supports 4096 and ISL supports 1024.But I have doubt about option D.What you think is the option D right ?
Looking forward for reply.
Rajiv
