Hi John,
I had trouble connecting Dynamips to my physical NIC, while others have not, so I moved the TermServ config to the MS Loopback. It appears to be hardware specific. Also do you have any type of firewall software running on your PC that would be blocking telnet to those ports? Try posting your config on http://hacki.at/7200emu/ as the coder(s) of the software package actively participate there.

BTW, I can ping the MS loopback from the TermServ and R1 and R2 routers that I am testing with are active and I can get to them with SecureCRT from the Windows host.
Thanks.

Brian M. I was going to ask about the TermServ. I have installed the MS loopback interface, got the device ID for it and added to the .net file. When I started the TermServ through Dynagen, it started fine, but when I went to connect to other routers via host names (R1, R2, etc.) it doesn't seem to have a connection to each router. I have made the IP address of the MS loopback adapter 192.168.123.30 for the TermServ e0/0 network. Isn't it supposed to go to the MS loopback adapter and then the port number outside of the Dynamips environment? Am I missing something?
Thanks in advance for your help.

The newest version of Dynamips (0.2.6-RC2-x86) is fairly stable
with the Etherswitch module, and it is supported in the newest version
of Dynagen. The .net files I put together for the IEWB-RS topology use
NM-16ESW on SW1 and SW2 in place of the 3550s. There are some minor
syntax differences but overall they accomplish the same functionality.
You can find the .nets here:
http://www.internetworkexpert.com/resources/ccie-hardware.htm . Also I
just added a terminal server instance that you can use to reverse telnet
to all the Dynamips instances.
