Did you have an IP configured on an interface in the up state?

Hi guys,
You guys are right. For some reason, the 2621 router I tried on, earlier
wasn't showing anything but after reading your answers, I tried on a 2501
router and it worked. show ip sockets is the right command for viewing DHCP
and other services. Still wondering why its not showing up on the 2600 router
though :)
Thanks to all of you,
Regards,
Salman

You can only see this in indirect fashion
For ex. udp/67 is well-known DHCP port

Hi Richard,
Thanks for the quick reply. I'm referring to services like DHCP. If I want
to see whether or not the service DHCP is running on my router, show ip
sockets won't show me.

Salman
