Well, looking at the topology, R6 is the only one belonging to the main
Frame-Relay cloud (R2, R4, R5, R6) the link between R6 and R9 is separate,
so unless somehow you got 172.31.100.0 onto R9 and made it work, it wouldn't
be a part of the same grouping there from a pure topology standpoint.

When working through any lab, it is very important to consult the diagrams,
and probably good to make your own as well, that way you can make notes on
things you were thinking of or what goes where. Use colors!

Subject: IPEXPERT SECTION 31 LAB M

Hello Group,
i need a little clarification on this lab i just completed. i am checking
my answer with the proctor guide i am seeing a big difference.
  OSPF CONFIGURATION the lab said
Configure the Frame Relay area as the BACKBONE
Configure subnet 172.31.69.0 in area 0 which the subnet between R6 and R9
When i checked the solution this is what i get
  R6
  router ospf 1
  redistribute ospf 2 subnets route-map ospf22ospf1
  network 172.31.100.0 0.0.0.15 area 0

  router ospf 2
  redistribute ospf 1 subnets route-map ospf12ospf2
  network 172.31.69.0 0.0.0.3 area 0

Process 1 is configured for the backbone and process two between R6 & R9

  R9
  router ospf 1
  network 172.31.69.0 0.0.0.3 area 0

My question is why process 2 is not configured on R9? or this is typing
error on R9

  Thanks,

  Tandou
