Hi All,

I have some questions regarding this task.

First, there is an RPF issue at R2 and R5 that should be resolved. It
could be resolved by enabling PIM sparse mode on the tunnel interface as
the solution guide. In a real lab, is this considered a violation to the
lab constrains (note that the tunnel interfaces were not in the
interface list that should be enabled for PIM sparse mode as per task
6.1).

Regarding the "ip pim nbma-mode" command that was used at R2 s0/0
interface, what I know about this command is that it is used to limit
the multicast flow to only the DLCIs were multicast receivers exist. As
per the solution guide, it is mentioned that without this command R1
will could not send multicast ping to R3. Could someone explain this
please?

Finally, the ping tests were all successful with me except pinging the
225.25.25.25 group from R4, does someone else encountered this too?

Kind Regards

Mohamed Saeed, CCNP - CCIP
