You should specify the name, that you will use on R1 when downloading the
image from R2.

R2: tftp-server flash: c2600-.......bin alias zuo2600

R1: copy tftp flash
    remote host: R2
    file name: zuo2600

Subject: "alias" parameter for the tftp-server command

Hi there,

If I want to boot R1 with an image on R2, what alias should I specify in the
following command?

R2:

Tftp-server flash:[some image] alias [what should I put in here]

The doc CD says: Specifies an alternate name for the file that the TFTP
server uses in answering TFTP Read Requests.

But how do I know what image name R1 will request in its TFTP read request?
Is there a default value R1 will be looking for if it can not find any image
on its own flash?

thanks
