Group,
I'd like to thank the group for all your support and the people who brought
this group together.
Also, my best regards to Brian McGahan and Brian Dennis. I ended up going
with their end-to-end self study program which was absolutlely fantastic.
Besides the workbooks which were essential in gauging progress and
increasing speed and accuracy, the class on demand was what really filled in
the gaps in my knowledge. I cant say enough about the COD, it is worth its
weight in gold. I took 4 mock labs with IE, 1 each week for the last month
before my lab date. After those, the actual lab seemed a lot simpler in
comparison.
I Studied for a total of about 3 months, 5-6 days a week about 8-10 hours a
day. Luckily my employer didnt have me on too many projects so most of it
was done at work.
As for the test, it went as many have stated in this forum. I finished
around 3pm with 2 hours left to check and re-check all my work. I ended up
leaving 1 question unanswered. I asked the proctor at least 15 questions and
he was happy to listen each and every time.
This was my second attempt, the first attempt being back in late 1999. I
have no idea why I waited until now to re-take it but thats just the way it
went. What can I say, life moves fast.
At least now i can actually plug in the xbox360 that the Brians threw in for
buying their package. :) Man what a teaser and a heck of a temtation while
studying, someone over there has a sick sense of humor... ;)
Again, thanks everyone and best of luck to you all.
Sincerely,
Daniel Bliss
