Folks ....
I can filter IGMP access on the router to specific groups by:
ip igmp access-group <ACL?
ip igmp profiles - and then setting the groups that I want to filter
To me these both do the same thing. Are there differences that I'm being blind to ? Please comment.
Also, can I do this ? I do not want "a specific host" from joining a particular IGMP group. I can do this by setting a ACL inbound on the router interface such that messages destined for a particular IGMP group originating from a particular source is filetered.
Any other ways of doing this ?
Thanks,
Adhu.
