Subject: Re: OSPF Distribute List Behavior?
Distribute list in OSPF and ISIS behaves in slightly different fashion.
Distribute list in out direction is not supported. In the in direction
distribute list will be applied only when ospf updates the routing table.
This would mean ospf database will not be affected. All the prefix that
match the filter will still be stored in the ospf-database and will used
during route selection. However it will not be installed in the routing
table.
Thanks and Regards
Arun
