Hi.

"source-interface" like commands are rather common concept for services
(and routing protocols) sourcing traffic from router/switch. It is
mostly management feature. So I would not call it "undocumented" for
3550. Going this way one could say "ip telnet source-interface" is
undocumented for 3550.

Since 3550 is IOS switch, you can expect lots of platform-independent
features to be there, as for other IOS routers.
