Gents

Please could I have a helping hand .

I am trying to config pim bsr but with no luck

Cat1 - ethernet- R2 -multpointsub - r1 - ethernet - cat2

Ip 227.7.7.7 is on cat2
BSR RP is on R1

When I ping 227 from below I get this response

r1 ok
Cat1 ok
R2 . Nope.

Can someone please enlighten me .

I would have thought that if CAT1 which is behind R" can ping it , then R2
should be able to ping it ????

the BSR is seen by all devices

Pim neibhours is ok
