Funny you should mention not being able to sleep the night before the test.
I tried everything (including Dr. prescribed drugs) and anything to allow
for a better nights sleep before I took the lab. Nothing helped. If you are
tightly wound like me, pretty much expect not to sleep the night before. I
worked on a number of my practice labs while intentionally sleep deprived
(no kidding). I hope not to go through this again before my voice lab : )
