RE: 4 Switches in the Lab - asked at RTP, NC - three times -

Not that this hasn't gone on long enough, but just to add a little note in
there.... Mr. Pearse is the proctor who is in charge of standardization of
hardware and software on any CCIE rack in all locations around the world.
So if anyone is going to be aware and on top of changes to this structure,
he would be the most reliable source around.

So if he is saying this information to everyone, then that's the way it is.

Otherwise, I think this topic has gone on long enough.

For those who doubted... Nyaa nyaa. ;)

Subject: 4 Switches in the Lab - asked at RTP, NC - three times - three
answers...

I asked this question today and three times of two proctors and the manager
on site...

3 Answers...

Mr. Thornton simply was not sure at or about 7:30am...
But it appears - Security is his thing - so this may be why...

The manager was asked during lunch and he is reported by about 5 witnesses
to have said "only 2 switches".

Mr. Pearce who is an RS proctor said yes there will be
4 switches in the RS labs after November 13th and went into great detail and
depth including explaing why the first 2 gentlemen may have not known the
correct answer in the first place.

Now - Mr Pearce also stated what models would be
present:

QTY 3: 3560's
QTY 1: 3550

So that is as close to the horses mouth as I could come and even at Cisco at
the lab in RTP in North Caroliona, 3 answers to one simple question, can be
obtained in one day by three guys who sat anywhere from one foot to 10 feet
apart.

But the definitive end of day - spend 20 minutes explaining it answer - said
4 switches.

So that is my take and it as Sabrina had told me before...

Not that it matters if you know Switching Topics very well anyway...

For me, I hope it means if I should have to repeat the exam, it will be
easier to get even more points...

Unless they are all QoS additions... :)
