This is a Dead Horse Curt, lets wait and see, for now just study..
Having 4 or 6 Switches.. And 2 VTP Domains.
Only 3 things are necessary to know with Normal STP:
1st Step: (The War)
Root Bridge is elected to act as the "center of the universe" for this
network
2nd Step (Before the War)
All of the remaining bridges calculate a set of Root Ports (to send TCNs)
and Designated Ports (to send Configuration BPDU received from the root
Bridge)
3er Step (The Why of the War)
to build a loop-free topology.
Back to the books guys, there is nothing else we can do, well yes, to Quit,
But that would make you to real FAIL the lab; We haven't failed until we
give up!!
BTW; my 20 bucks are for your option "B" :)
Victor.-

So when you guys are betting on 4 switches, does that mean:
A) four switches mounted in the rack and possibly only 2 USED and GRADED
in a single lab at any given time (maybe this scenario would be for
migration purposes).
Or
B) All four switches are both in the rack, and accessible from the
computer, and all four will be configured and graded as part of the lab.
Just my thoughts since you guys are "betting" now....
Curt
