The IOS version should be ENTERPRISE PLUS or ADVANCED ENTERPRISE
SERVICES depending on the platform used. The router hardware platform
for R1 to R6 doesn't 'really' matter as you run IOS 12.4. You could use
a 2600XM, 3640, 2811, 3825, etc. The only newer router platform that
you may run into issues with feature support is the 2801.
You may also consider using dynamips for most of your preparation if you
don't want to build your own physical lab.
