Yes if you want to live in the middle of the city! But if you do what
  most
people do, live outside of london and Train in ! I live outside
  london, I
have a large size 3 bed house with a Garage for approx 190K, I live 5
  mins
walk from a train station and it takes 30-40 mins into London. Again
  Schools
wise, out of London they are better, The best thing to do with London
Salaries is work for 5-10 years and save, then return back to your
  contry or
origin with a good ammount of money. At the moment the # is worth
  almost $2
as apposed to 10 years ago it was 1 x 1.3.

Again, its stupid to live in London unless you absolutely must or
  want to
live in poverty! Again the real money is in Contract roles not
  permenet
position, contracting pays 2 to 3 times more.

  Good luck

  Thanks

  Let's don't get too excited...
UK salaries in an "absolute" scale are good, but what about on a
  "relative"
  scale.
1-2 bedroom apartments in decent London
areas sells for around 300-400K pounds (and I believe I'm staying
  low), and
the bedrooms are smaller than my walk in closet. No kidding.
  Many of them have
carpet in the bathroom, so prepare yourself to remodel.
  Renting doesn't come
for cheap either, many single people rent single bedrooms in shared
  apartments.
Same can be said for food, whether you eat out or you cook on your
  own.

If you have a family, public elementary and middle schools are not
  very good
I'm told (it may depend on the district), so many families send their
  kids
to private schools (if they can get them accepted since the demand is
high)...since you are not the only one that has to earn a live there,
  you
can guess how much they cost.

Everything else is personal taste. My sister lived there for 10 years
  and
she is getting tired only now...a friend couple who stayed there 2
  years
only is already making plans to leave.

  Sabrina

Pierre yes I want to move. It sounds like a lot of fun.
  Can you tell me if
there are a lot of Cisco VoIP AVVID projects in the UK?
